When you go down the list of coaches who routinely make boneheaded moves on gameday, mostly with regard to challenges, timeouts, go-for-it decisions and clock management - it is almost always coordinator HCs. Reid, McCarthy, Garrett and co lead the list.

Vs someone like Mike Tomlin who is working the refs the entire game. It’s looked at as a joke but it’s pretty important when your team is at the top in penalties and your opponent can go a whole game without one.

You're right. There were situations this year where Garrett should have been going nuts but had to maintain composure and call the next play.

That said, sheik is pretty right and idk if that's in Garrett's nature anyhow. But he definitely needs to be spending more time focusing on the big picture rather than having to handle playcalling.

Meh, Carr is a pretty good corner.

Mo is going to be a huge piece of shit, tho.

Our corners had a really hard job once Church/Lee/Carter went down. They had absolutely no inside help and it showed.

I have no idea how you can predict that. Sounds like a Laz prediction.

It's not a prediction.

just a hunch. I fear that I'll be arguing the same retards I did for years like I was when it came to Newman. Decent corner. Doesn't make enough plays on the football to warrant the top 5(6 in Mo's case) pick.

All I know is noone in this draft class played the ball in the air like Mo. I think once he gets some confidence in the system and his technique, we will start to see that again.

I think the biggest thing for him would be to get some safety help. You know the possibility of getting beat if he guesses wrong is floating in the back of his mind and affecting him.

Janoris Jenkins begs to differ.

I think in today's league to just cover pretty well isn't good enough. You need more from your supposed stud defensive players.

He'll we got our stop only to lose on a bs roughing call

Can anyone remember a game where we put pressure on consistently and made life really uncomfortable for the opposing star QB?

You know, like happens to Romo every fucking sunday.

It’s like the whole team plays conservative. I liked Ryan’s first year where we brung the house but got burned because nobody could cover, but at least it looked cool. Whole team plays scared and as Jerry said, not fundamentally sound.

Well you want to know something... Romo wouldn't being "blowing" these big games IF he was able to play with a significant lead and not have to try to always bring the team back from behind.

Was the lead vs Detroit last year not significant enough?
