I was listening to ESPN this morning and they were saying about how the logistics for supporting the event were off the charts. None of this was researched enough before Goodell made his dumbass decision, either that or he suppressed the shit he didn't want to hear.
I would really like to know who the fuck came up with the idea about taking a runner's natural instinct to lower his head in anticipation of contact away and make it a penalty. That and how he convinced the rest of the morons on the competition committee that it was a good idea. I mean why is it a penalty only outside the tackles? Is there some sort of magical line where the propensity to cause a brain-shaking hit is crossed because he has crossed this imaginary line? Fuck the people who run this game are as bad as politicians.
