that is an incomplete way of looking at it.

in 06 we had one tight end and needed one bad, we were going to draft jennings but the pack took him one spot ahead of us....

we were stacked at defensive line from 05 to 09. So it didnt make sense to draft one then with the other holes we had.

and again I dont want a tight end in the first round and dont think that would ever happen. I want lineman too...just not reaches who are developmental players.

my biggest fear is we take poe or brockers and in two years they develop into marcus spears.

When people are upset about a disjointed front office thats what they're talking about. No clear roster construction. This guy gets his pick here, this guy gets his guy. A scout tells Jerry you're gonna need to put a foot in the ass of martelleus but he takes him anyway. Not realizing we have no foot in ass coaches.

The giants traded multiple picks for their qb. We lucked into ours without using any picks. They are equally talented players and yet the giants stomp us.

We aren't going to beat them without matching their athletes at the LOS.

The giants have a clear vision and know exactly what they want. They were able to drop Boss and Smith last year and replace them with even bigger studs. They never skipped a beat when they lost Osi.

People thought they'd be last place in the division. That wasn't the case at all. They also have coaches capable of bringing the best out of their players and they turn it on and show up for big games.

Dallas does none of these things correctly. I think we have similar talent. Romo is a better QB than Eli.

We really lack in coaching. Jerry knew we needed Parcells but he got overconfident again once the team got better.

Eagles will be better. Shanny just got the QB he wanted so the Skins are def building and have a vision.

We can't just throw money at free agents anymore to cover up our draft errors. Time to grow up and learn, or sink to the bottom of the division.

They were a disaster in 09.
