SportsDay's Jon Machota answered questions in a chat Tuesday. Here are some highlights.

Question: What are the chances of us trading Claiborne to a CB-needy team at the draft? Maybe DET thinks why use their 1st on Dennard/Gilbert when all they'd have to give up for Claiborne is a 4th. Was a big fan of Claiborne when he was drafted - no longer.

Jon Machota: I think they want to still give Mo a chance to develop. He is only 24. Plus, his stock is at an all-time low. I can't see them getting much in return right now.

Question: Will the Cowboys make the playoffs again with Romo at quarterback?

Jon Machota: Tough call. I think he has two good years left. I think it will be more difficult this year for the Cowboys to make the playoffs than it has been the last three years. But if they draft well this year and next, I could see them making a run in 2015. Obviously, staying healthy is the key.

Question: Give me a sleeper pick to have a big season for the Cowboys

Jon Machota: I'll give you two: Kyle Wilber and J.J. Wilcox. Wilber seems to finally have found his spot in the NFL as a strongside linebacker in that 4-3 scheme. He played well at times during the second half of last season and he just turned 25. I like Wilcox to have a good year because I think he has playmaking ability on the back end. The jump from Georgia Southern to the NFL wasn't easy. I think the third-round pick will make a smoother transition in Year 2.

Question: If you are the owner/GM of an NFL franchise and all you care about is winning a Super Bowl within the next three years, which quarterback do you take in this draft to get you there?

Jon Machota: Manziel. I just think he has that it factor. It's a very tough call, though. None of the QBs in this class blow me away. I could see Manziel being a star, but I could also see his game not translating to the NFL and him struggling because he's thrown into the fire with a bad team.

Question: Let's say fate favors the Cowboys and Aaron Donald falls to the Boys at No. 16. Who does Dallas hope to take in rounds two and three?

Jon Machota: Well, if fate is favoring the Cowboys, Northern Illinois safety Jimmie Ward or Boise State DE Demarcus Lawrence seem like great second round picks if either were there. In the third round, Arizona State DT Will Sutton, Florida State OLB Telvin Smith or Georgia QB Aaron Murray would all be interesting options if available.

Question: Is it reasonable to think if we trade up to 13 with the Rams (ahead of Bears and Steelers), we can land Aaron Donald? Would it be worth it?

Jon Machota: It's reasonable, just not sure the Cowboys want to trade up.

I think Wilcox will be fine.

Wilbur is interesting, but if they draft someone liek Shazier or Telvin Smith then Wilburn would likely have to compete for his job with Holloman, who I think is the better all around OLB.

Wilbur did play decently last yr when he got all that time at OLB.

Wilbur is going to be a good player IMO. He was making plays at DE and LB.

He should have started over Bruce Carter. Too bad our coaching staff sucks ass.

Machota is a dbair-like cheerleader.

Wilcox has potential, he just needs to be coached up, not a strong point for us.

Wilbur is a solid player, good at a few things, not great at anything. He'll play hard which is a plus but I think he's limited.

Wilcox has potential like Sacamano has game with the ladies.

Which is to say he doesn't.

I wouldn't count on anyone who couldn't beat out Heath

So I guess Matt Johnson is still on the team...

I'll give him 1 preseason game this time before we put him on IR again.

I doubt he goes on IR again. If he gets hurt for a 3rd straight yr, they'll just cut him.

I hope he can stay healthy, he looks like he has some physical ability. Nice size, good range, good tackler. made a lot of plays on the ball in college. I wouldn't count on him but if he pans out, could be a nice addition this year.

He did beat out Heath, then he got hurt.

If Wilcox hadn't have gotten hurt Heath would have hardly seen the field (if at all)
