Christian Jones and Telvin Smith both tested positive for something too.

Zach Mettenberger was on the list too, but Pat Kirwin said on NFL radio he didn't actually test positive for anything, instead he had a "diluted" sample, which his agent is telling people is because he was drinking extremely large quantities of water to fight leg cramps.

LSU DT Anthony Johnson was another one who tested positive.

It definitely could.

I'm sure at the very least it leads to increased scrutiny and maybe costs him half a round or so in draft stock, although ESPN was saying earlier they thought Jernigan was an early to mid round 2nd anyway (even before this news)

I'd still lean towards others before Jernigan, but having him next to Melton (assuming Melton is close to 100% would go along way towards improving the middle of our DL. Especially if we could land him at our pick or later in the 2nd.
