Three problems with him on Sunday

1) The pick before halftime
2) Not getting another play off after Dez caught that pass with 20 seconds left. Why no sense of urgency?
3) Lying through his teeth in the post-game press conference about "piles"

He wasn't the problem on Sunday (that honor goes to Red and other culprits like ST and a non-existent pass rush), but definitely part of the problem.

Not suggesting by any means that he is THE problem. But he is absolutely part of the problem.

Be Careful, BB...Romo is untouchable round here

Not just here. He's the "third rail" at most Cowboy forums. For the "most" part, he doesn't give us much reason to complain. Usually it's other people failing the team instead of the other way around. But when he does screw up, yes, he should be held accountable like anyone else.

Well thought out thread.

If only Jerry would listen to dbair and trade him for two number 1's

GloryDays is on a draft-a-QB-kick, even worse, he's on a draft-Tyler Wilson (Arkansas)-kick. :suicide :puke

Give him a few days and he will move onto another draft prospect and Romo will be safe again.

Romo, specifically "Bad Romo" can be a problem. On the list of our problems, he is way down the list though.

I am definitely not interested in replacing romo now.

I see no sense in not drafting his heir if we have a top 10 pick. That's stupid football, IMO.

Was the pick really a big deal? It was 3rd and 15 from the 35 yard line. Outbid fg in those strong winds.

In hindsight you can say instead of a designed throwback to a small, slow WR(covered by Ed reed right?) they should've been looking at getting yardage to get in FG range. 8 yards is potentially worth 3 points there

It was 3rd and 10. The Ravens took over and drove the field for a TD. You can blame the D for that, but Tony set it in motion.

We left 3 points on the field because of that. Now if you don't have to learn the game, and thus subscribed to the Parcells' philosophy, that in itself is a cardinal sin.

10 point swing was a pretty big deal, and it sucks that he's the worst QB in the league on third down this season, but

(A) he's way down on the list of people who need blame for that game
(B) for his career the third down thing is an anomaly. I hope we've all seen this guy convert enough third and 19s after felix runs for five yards, loses four, and free gets called for a holding penalty to know he's pretty special in those situations.

does anyone else feel like the announcers are seeing the plays well before we do?

Last week they dropped the Romo sucks on third down right before he threw a pick, then randomly play by play guy is all like man we haven't called Ware's name in a while and boom Ware gets a sack.

Not a given that we would have attempted a FG from the 35 had Romo's pass been incomplete. We were on their 35 yard line in the 3rd quarter as well, but instead of kicking a long FG, we tried to draw them offsides.

Which has already been established. Turns out bobs misinformed.

The D read the play, once that happened we weren't getting points on that drive. Not a smart throw b/c of how dangerousbaltimore could be in a return situation, but they got the ball at the 20. He essentially punted it into the end zone and it got brought out to the 20. Play some defense
