Is it me, or is Stephen Jones becoming more vocal?

He seems to be speaking to the media more, and seems more involved - even if it's just perception.

To me, it's a good thing. He seems like more of a straight-shooter than his dad. Less of an ego-maniac.

Seems about the same. I think he initially increased his visibility around 05 because Jerry was just repeating everything parcells said......Stephen started doing more tv. Stuff then.

Seems the same since then. I really don't think it matters anyway. This organization operates the way it operates. Nothing will change that.

We just have to hope That they can win in spite of it.

Yeah, his dad is sharing the microphone more than before.

There was a point in one of the draft press conferences (after the 2nd evening?) that Stephen joked about holding a gun on his Dad so his Dad wouldn't trade any of next year's picks for picks in the current draft. Obviously there wasn't a real gun involved, but it does seem clear that Stephen and Garrett have heavily influenced Jerry -- and even reined Jerry in. Garrett's emphasis on character/motor/ the "right kind of player" was very apparent in this draft, I think.

Ya, I do think he's speaking more. As goofy as Jerry is, he's no dummy and he knows he has to prepare for the future. He's no spring chicken even if he feels like one in Vegas.

Unfortunately, IMO SJ is sounding more like daddy all the time.

Still think he'll be way less of a circus ringmaster than Jerry, but that's a little disappointing to me.
