"Yeah, I can understand the Cowboys not signing me to an extension before this season started,” Hatcher said. “But at the same time, I know for a fact that I have outplayed my contract, and for those guys not to acknowledge it, it’s just one of those things I’m starting to lean on, starting to think about more and more. I’ve talked to my family about the worst-case scenario, playing somewhere else.
“The longer I play without a deal, the more my value goes up. I don’t want to hear about I’m 31 years old, either. I’m one of the best in the league at my position. So, yeah, it’s hard not to think about. You can’t put a gun to those guys’ heads and make them step up to the plate and do something. Maybe I’m not that guy for them, but thank God there are 31 other teams out there. I guarantee there’s a lot that love me as a player.
“I would love to retire here, that’s always been the dream, but it’s just one of those things. Every game that goes on, it’s kind of disrespectful. You start feeling a little disrespected.”

Been in the league since 2006.

First time he's played up to his potential.

Lets it go to his head.

Bitch please.

Yeah, and I love the money sign his flashes after a sack.

He can go find another team. If I was Jerry I would offer to help him. I'm sure those other 31 teams can't wait to sign a 31 year old DT who had a breakout season in his contract year.

He's full of it. He's "outplayed" his contract for one season. One. And not even a full one yet.

If he wants a top deal, hit the road. Nice knowing ya.

All I can say is that Jerry better not break the bank for this guy who has had the perfect storm this season. Had Ware, Spencer and even Ratliff been healthy and playing, he would be far from "the best in the league" at his position.

He ought to smooch Marinelli's old wrinkled up ass for making him relevant.

He's obviouly a mongoloid and at 31 with his ego we'll be lucky to get 60% of this production next year if we sign him to a huge deal. Then we'll be eating the last 3 years of it because he won't be able to play because he's 31.

He's had one good season and he acts like he's been robbed. What about the other ones when he rode the bench? I didn't hear one stupid word from him. GTFO you ignorant bastard.

I stole this post from Woody's Girl who, get this, used this excerpt to defend him.

Yeah, I was shocked too.

With our cap issues we need to thank him for his service, wish him well, and draft his replacement.

Instead, we will restructure deals, sign him to an overly generous contract, and draft a Tight End.

Poor deluded Hatcher. Drafted way too high in the 3rd round and although had great size and speed, was not even close to 7th round Ratliff. I'm sure he will be signed by another team and then he will be cut after his first year in favor of a rookie who outplays his own potential. Hatcher is not outplaying Selvie and is barely outplaying Hayden.

He signed the 10 game a year day dreaming Newman to a new deal. It wouldn't surprise me.

And Newman sucked ass. I've never seen a shittier player with more defenders than him.

I think she's a clit bumper and besides, she stated she only likes dark meat.

Lies and more lies.

BB has been getting some of that for years. I still don't know how he survives her being on top, but he is still here.

I think there is a whole atmosphere in Dallas where everyone believes they are actually better than they are. Obviously, it all starts with Jerry and his comments and actions. The roster is set? On a team that didn't make the Super Bowl?

Even Carr has had some comments that makes me think not only the owner, but the players themselves buy into this hype. They just can't figure out what is going on when they don't go out and just win. It is no wonder they fold in the clutch time and time again.

Yeah, it's one big show for the fans who spend tons of money. The players are a bunch of primadonnas

It's a real loser atmosphere.
