Different situations. Parcells got to the playoffs with Quincy and Hambrick. He should have coach of the year for that
Took a cellar dwelling team and built a playoff team out of them.
Garrett started with pieces in place....including a franchise QB and HoF caliber pass rusher and TE and can't even get to the playoffs
Yes, overall Parcells results were mediocre. However he did more for Dallas than any coach since
I think he only really had 1 year that you could even argue that the pieces were in place (2006). I agree he didn't win enough but I hate to think what the team would have looked like without himYeah but you are what you are.
Guy had four years to turn it around.
Did he increase overall talent? Yeah. Could he do fuckall with the improved talent? No.
10-6 with Quincy Carter.Good for retooling the team. Lousy fucking coach here.
10-6 with Quincy Carter.

Agree with all of that.Tuna laid the foundation that still is with the team today. He had the team trending in a good direction. I don't think he could have done much more if he stayed longer, but think what this team would be without Romo, Witten, Ware, etc.
He was much better than the current coach. Garrett is trending toward every year being a 8-8 team, no matter what the situation is.
By all accounts, that's exactly what Callahan is going to do.
Werder even claimed that one thing Tony has been wanting to do is run the ball more. Said that might sound counterintuitive for a QB, but Tony realizes he can't carry the offense all by himself.
