Draft Pick
Yep. The .500 career record is proof of genius.

.529 actually but with 162 wins, 11 playoff games, and 1 Super Bowl appearance.

Garrett has 38 wins, zilch playoff games, and shouldn't even be allowed to watch the Super Bowl on TV.

Garrett dreams of being Fisher.

He might be one day if he gets to coach 15-20 years or so. Every once in awhile the blind squirrel finds the but, like Fisher did once or twice.

Fisher's had an awful lot of 8-8 or 7-9 type seasons. And like Garrett, he also coached teams to three straight 8-8 seasons once.

6 playoff seasons out of something like 19 or 20.

He had old man Adams who forced Vince Young on him, though. That's pretty bad.

As many on here (including yourself) have stated and argued, nobody in the NFL has been as big a handicap on their franchise as Jerruh has for 20 yrs.

The Vince Young decision was horrible. But Jones even trumped that with his love and drafting of Quincy Carter

As for your other comment about Fisher not having a QB other than McNair, McNair was the QB for Fisher there for 8 or 9 seasons. He also had Scott Chandler, who had a couple good seasons as a starter there and then left and led the Falcons to a super bowl. He also had Kerry Collins start for him a couple of seasons, and he was pretty good there.

Dude. Scott Chandler (who?) and a 38 year old Kerry Collins... That's your argument that he *did* have good QBs?

He never had anyone as good as Romo, that's for sure.

He had Steve McNair though for a lot of his time there didn't he?

I gave you Chandler and Collins' names because they played ok there. You can go look up their numbers for yourself. It wasn't like he had Quincy Carter or RGknee out there hopeless and lost.

Chris Chandler. Scott was the guy we should have kept as the #2 TE instead of wasting a pick on Escobar

Yeah meant Chris obviously.

Pablo is gonna be a good player. Lets just hope the staff doesn't waste the next two yrs waiting to give him a chance though.

He should be the primary receiving TE now IMO, and at the very least should be the #1 guy next yr. Isnt the blocker Witten is obviously, but he's more athletic and has more ability to get downfield now than Witten does.

lol, I need to, I just looked up the draft Fletcher Cox was in and it was the same damn draft as Claiborne (as y'all already knew). Since he went 12th, they probably wouldn't have had to give up a 2nd round pick?

Damn, that Claiborne pick makes me sick, especially considering that it was reported they never even interviewed the guy. That whiff really hurt the defense

Jerry's Wonderlick is even lower than Claiborne's.
