Seriously,I'd hate anyone to leave the forum over the play of this team(Roy the Hammer's never coming back, right?).
Sadly this team would break any fan's heart.
Like Mid,or whoever that guy is, said;I've become comfortably numb.

if you can make it through 2000-02 and 2010 there is no need to jump ship now.

This is the titanic but its still better than those years.

of course a few plays here and there and we are 1-4 just like 2010....which this season could end up just like.

Really, there have been a lot of posts like this lately. So don't feel bad, you aren't alone.

It's one thing to have no shot because you have no talent, like in the Campo years. It's another to have talent and have it repeatedly mismanaged, wasted, and otherwise pissed down the drain like we see now. I don't blame you or anyone else for losing interest. I think we all are to some degree. How are we supposed to give a shit when the owner of the team doesn't?

The worst part is knowing this team will never go all the way with the way Jerry operates. Over the years we've just clung to the hope that if we get the right coach or players they could win in spite of Jerry. That one year maybe we'd just catch lightning in a bottle like the Giants have done or the Packers. But realistically, deep down inside we know that won't happen with this team under the current circumstances.
17 years now and only the little respite when BP got us back into contention is all we have to cling to. Too bad he was on his last leg and didn't have his usual supporting cast. Made a run the year after he left with the team he built in Romo's first year as full time starter. But since then it's been crumbling little by little.

I still watch because it's been ingrained in me for well over 30 years now. I'm sure the next time the ball is kicked off I'll get sucked in again, but it's becoming more and more evident it's just an exercise in futility, much like the last 17 years have been.

wow..some of these posts I'm reading you'd think we lost 41-0 or something

I'm all for slamming the team when they play like garbage (like the previous three games) but they did play well yesterday, and only lost because of the refs.

No matter how much we did right, we still made the same usual mistakes that cost us points on both ends.

That drive given up by the defense in the 4th qtr was as about as bad as it gets. We have all these resources tied up in corners and not one of them is even close to making a play on the ball. Not one. 50 million for Carr and he doesn't even contest inside routes and then falls Down on the slant and go right on que. mo Claiborne is the 6th pick in the draft for Christi sake, shouldn't he at least look a little bit like a guy who can make a play? Cause he looks like a spare part all of a sudden.

That is why we lost. Not the refs. Poor redzone offense again, terrible defense when it mattered most and dreadful special teams again.

It's the same thing over And over.

It figures on a day where we have a running game guys like Sean lee make critical mistakes swinging the momentum when he allowed rice that 45 yd catch.

I hate to be a dick, but this teams m.o. Is to go play half assed football in Carolina next week and get beat then tell us how it is all going to change against the giants.

So in two weeks after we are 2-5 I hope the organization just faces reality and moves whatever players they can...hopefully Jenkins and jones are gone by November 1st.

The refs??? lol

I'd look at the TD drive right before halftime, the KO return TD, the TD drive virtually against air in the 4th. 13 penalties, lack of game management again, dropped passes, etc... before I blamed it on the refs. We're just a poorly coached, sloppy team with a porous defense. But I guess now days we're reduced to moral victories like in the Campo years.

The refs were bad no question...

You try to think about what could have happened if we didn't have that inexplicable call on Felix with the chop block... it cost us time. We may not have scored on that play, and things could have turned out differently. But if things go the same, we score on that pass to Witten, instead of the TD to Dez and then if we miss the 2pt conversion, there's probably about 15 more seconds on the clock.

In the end though, our lack of clock management and sense of urgency when we got the onside kick sunk us, as usual.

The refs were bad, but we should have won this game in spite of them.

Honestly since that 4th down throw from Brunell to moss after being dominated for the entire game hasn't every game been some form of heartache just like that.

Sans the first three months of 07.

I can still remember Roy Williams picking up and flinging mark brunell to the ground on a blitz on third down up 13-0 during that skins game in 05. He did his dance. And the entire crowd was standing waiting for the next play to be over and the team to get to 2-0.

And then the worst play ever happened.

And honestly that is the kind of thing we have seen since in one form or another.

Parcells, wade and now Garrett seems to be easily the most unequipped to handle this.

Keith Davis called the post game show yesterday after watching the game at home and said he was in shock and all mad.....him and rocket went back and forth basically saying Garrett cant do this.

I personally blame Oklahoma State.I only wish we had drafted Justin Blackmon so I could blame him, too.

I hit this point during the first Giants game at home last year.

It's not about the losing. I was perfectly fine during the Campo 5-11 years. We lacked talent, but we fought.

For the last 5 years, football is not the #1 priority for the Dallas Cowboys. Appeasing Jerry Jones' ego has become #1...so when Jerry returns the Cowboys to focusing on football, I'll be back.

This franchise has just become a circus and everything but football.

This has directly led to the sloppiness and comedy of errors we see on the field.

I didnt say it was perfect, but the refs DID cost us the game.

You cant hand the other team two tds they didnt deserve, and probably took at least one TD away from us with a bad call (we settled for a FG after we had converted a 3rd down) and usually win. They blew ALOT fo easy shit, and it wasnt blowing it for both teams. Hell one play the Ravens probably had 15 players on the field and when Romo wanted to snap it to get a penalty (which would have given us another 3rd down conversion) Carey held the play up, then tried to charge us a TO.

The Claiborne call was one of the worst I've ever seen. He had absolutely perfect coverage and the only contact was all on the WR, and they flagged our guy.

Further, we'd have had ALOT more time left at the end of the game had we not had to overcome 3rd and 27 because of two absolutely horrible calls against our guys, we had to repeat two more plays minimum because of that.

Call a spade a spade man, the Ravens got a major gift yesterday from Carey's crew.
