How would you feel if we got Manzel on the cheap?

It seems like the Browns are pissed. Owner Haslam doesn't want irresponsible players.

Mortensen is reporting that Jimmy Haslem doesn't "trust him" and the Browns will be looking for a QB in 2015.

Coach Petine said Connor Shaw proved more yesterday than Johnny Football has. Said he took a shot to the kidney, was pissing blood last night, but still refused to come out of the game.

We all know how Jerry felt about JF. And his dumbass quotes about the guy.

Would you be upset if we got him for maybe something like a third rounder?

The last incident kindof soured me towards Manziel. It was reported that he had a big party and a number of Brown players were late or missed meetings the next day. Gordon was said to be one of them. Manziel also was late for his treatment. I dont like that at all. It really bothers me that he is have a negative effect inside the locker room. He is proving the haters correct and making his supports look like fools. The kid has all the intangibles but he needs to mature and mature quickly. I would say right now, id pass on Manziel.

Kind of sucks that the Browns and Texans are signing QBs who are playing credible off the street while we traded a pick for Brandon Weeden.

Same here. I can stand his being bad, even really bad, his first couple of pro starts. But he sounds like he doesn't give a damn about being a pro. And maybe worse, he keeps saying he's going to change when he obviously doesn't mean it. He's a liar and a con man.

I'd definitely take Manzel on the cheap. Third is too high though.

Let him mature on the sidelines a year or two.

When Romo takes a shot to the back next year and is in a wheelchair, we'll be wishing we had a blue chip talent.

I'm sorry, but it doesn't matter how long he "matures". He just isn't talented enough of a thrower to make it.

He's also a 100% douche bag on and off the field. We don't need that kind of crap here.

Dustin Vaughan has a far better chance of being something in the NFL than Manziel does.

As for your comment about blue chip talent, Manziel aint that either.

Yeah it was reported they fined him for being late to the hammy treatment. That means they're really mad about it.

I'm no talent evaluator but my naive eyes tell me this guy won't succeed in the NFL and if he has a chance, he's going to have to work his ass off which it doesn't appear he is willing to do.

It just seems these college running QB's never succeed in the NFL, yet every time one of these types of players lights it up in college some team falls for them and wastes a high draft pick on them only to see them fail. Seems like it started in 89' with Andre Ware and I don't recall one being a success in the NFL yet.

If Flutie falls under this category, he's the best I can remember.

So my long winded answer is no I don't want him and his drama near the team

Dallas homers everywhere must be conflicted when Skip Bayless called Manziel an alcoholic.
