It appears Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward has a found a good way to stay in shape in case the NFL players are locked out by the owners starting this Friday -- a regimen that includes the Tango and Cha Cha.
According to TMZ.com, Ward will be the latest pro football star to compete on ABC's Dancing with the Stars.
Ward would become the fourth wide receiver to be on the show, joining Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Michael Irvin and fellow active AFC North standout Chad Ochocinco. Ward also will attempt to become the sixth athlete to win the reality television competition in 12 seasons.
It's good that Ward is known as one of the game's toughest players, because boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard and original Karate Kid Ralph Macchio are reportedly among his ballroom rivals.
