The week-long build up to the Super Bowl is a whirlwind of legends and bright lights. Everywhere you turn is someone who has had a lasting impact on the game most only dream of. Tuesday in Houston brought a moment of that as we had a chance to sit down with Dallas Cowboys legend Jimmy Johnson and pick his brain. I asked the Super Bowl winning coach about how the expectations in Dallas have changed since 2016's surprising season and how he would have handled them back when he was the big star in Big D. His answer was fantastic, and even had a story about his days in the 90's and what Pittsburgh Steelers legend Terry Bradshaw once asked him. So, his answer?

Be an *******. Enjoy.

There's too many differences to list between those two. We probably don't have enough forum space to list them all.

Interesting at the end about assistant coaches becoming friends with the players.

How about head coaches becoming basketball buddies with them before they've won anything?

It's sad and also funny, but I've been listening to lots of national news and podcasts this week about the Super Bowl and Garrett is brought up regularly as a joke. In general, Dallas has been mentioned a lot since ticket prices for the game have been dropping.

Mike Lombardi was saying that GB was begging us to run and Garrett blew it. Lots of other people have said we would likely be playing this week if Garrett wasn't coaching here.

Yeah, this team blew a golden ticket to at least the NFC Title game this year. IDK how we would've fared against that Falcons offense, but we pissed this post season away.

All because of coaching.
