Are you wondering why we have little talent on the offensive line? Or why we have no young QB prospects? Or why our plan for WR/TE depth consists of us holding out hope late rounders or UDFA's can do what Miles did? Or why when Murray gets injured we have nothing to replace him with?

Since 2005
9 of 14 early picks (1st and 2nd rounders) have been for defensive guys

10 of 17 mid-round picks (3-5) have been for defensive guys

12 of 21 late round picks (6-7) go to defense.


Our offense was constructed the following way:

FB - FA
RB1 - 3rd rounder
RB2 - 1st rounder
WR1 - 1st rounder
WR2 - UDFA
WR3 - 6th rounder
TE1 - 3rd rounder
TE2 - 7th rounder

This is a pretty deep safety draft. I think they could easily get someone in round two that could start from day one, either at their own spot or perhaps by trading up a few spots.
