The guy is a BAD Head Coach. Plain and simple. Im even going to say he's worse then Campo. And im saying that because Campo never had the teams and talent Garrett has been given. Campo coached teams that had epic dead money because of injuries and retirements. I dont think Campo would do anything with this team either but Garrett IMO is worse.
Start off with his lame excuses on losses combined with his nonchalant attitude on his mistakes. Like it doesnt matter because he's the HC. The guy thinks he can control everything with very little experience he has. He shows no ability (or desire) to adjust during a game. Dallas controlled this game and Carolina adjusted to Ryan's defense and took what he gave them. Ryan adjusted and Dallas stopped Carolina in the 3rd. Rivera adjusted scored and Ryan countered and readjusted and the defense took away the outside dumps and ended the game with pressure defense.
BUT mr Redhead wont ever adjust to whats given to him. On 3rd down its a given that He will always call a play that takes the WRs straight down the field. Dallas has some of the most physical WRs in the game to go along with the best TE over the middle in the game. He cant find a way during the week to get these guys slants thats work so well on 1st and 2nd down but wont attempt it on 3rd down? He cant run wrs over the top of Witten and take that S with them to free up Witten on a LB?
Dallas has Romo, Witten, Austin, and Dez as its primary passing attack. Most times their talent skill and ability can and will trump Garretts lack of adjustments. But does it really have to be this fucking hard?
Garrett is whats wrong with this team. Him and his unwillingness to see that he cant run everything. To see that he's in over his head. That he's getting outcoached by better coaches. Dallas has alot of good posistion coaches. Too bad they have a QB coach thats supposed to be a HC.
