Jerry will sell you that Bernadeau and Costa need another year under Woicik and Callahan and the Wizard of Oz.

Jerry will sell you that Kyle Wilber was the most impressive player in practice last year and is ready to step in at LOLB.

Jerry will draft a WR.

We are drafting a pass rusher...there's almost no doubt in my mind

OL DEFINITELY. I like your thinking. I've been on the Chance Warmackdaddy bandwagon from the start of the post draft. I think there will be plenty of pass rushers OLBs/4-3 DE---personally, I wish we would return to the 4-3, available in the 2nd - 3rd rounds.

I don't think Khaled Holmes makes it to the 3rd.

Sadly, I think we will end up with more hood ornaments.

And I've been saying that we need to mend fences with Jenkins, and try him at FS. You can't go wrong---well, FatRob can, but you shouldn't go wrong with a secondary of Jenkins, Carr, and Claiborne. It'd leave one less position to worry about in the draft.
I wish we wouldve never moved to the 3-4 but Jerry will not be moving back anytime soon. Chance is going to be a good one. Guy is a beast. And he's smart. Khaled IMO will slip as the yr goes on. IDK if he'd slip to 3rd but he'd be a 2nd rounder middle at best.

Chance and Chase are my two guys for this draft. If you havent watched Stanford play the past two yrs ur missing out. The guy isnt Ware where the guy is a straight line type of guy that is going to beat you with a spin a dropped shoulder move or just go over you, but will just beat you by reading the blocking and find the hole. He's just all over the field. Stanford plays him everywhere. Outside Middle on the DL.

I bet we go O-line unless we pick really high, which I don't expect. Usually in the late teens to early 20s you can get the best center in the draft, which is what we should do unless we take care of it in FA.

Front runners and 21 year old drunk girls don't buy jerseys of centers.

Therefore expect a running back.

And kowalski having a great OTA.

Jerry doesn't draft for need. He usually drafts BWPA (Best "Wow Player" Available).

That's his philosophy.

Every draft, a couple of "wow players" are targeted.

These "wow players" become the first priority of the draft. If Jerry can trade up and capture the "wow player," he'll do it, regardless of overall team needs.

The player could play any number of positions. WR, RB, OLB/DE, DB, etc. It doesn't really matter. Star power is the key.

And as far as team needs are concerned, Jerry can always pick up some spare part FAs, throw them in a competition, and proclaim the victor an adequate NFL starter.

Ha.. Well while there's definitely something to Jerry's wow player fixation, I don't think it's that extreme. There's a natural balance there where you can't take RBs and WRs every year. Not even Jerry.

I mean, OLBs usually don't sell jerseys, and we took Spencer in the late 20s. We took Smith two years ago and were going to take Brockers last year.

I do think and always thought that center is our greatest need, though. Still think you can be fine with less than spectacular guards as long as they're solid. Center is very important, though.

That is good. I am officially stealing that.
