Either way.. show me how many backs averaged more than 4.3 ypc last year and over 5 yards per touch with over 200 total touches.
I'll take a back that does that anyday.. especially when they can do it behind our horrible run blocking line that we had last season.
There were at least 11 better than Felix in that category. They all scored more than one TD for their team also.
Felix doesn't want to carry the ball in goal line situations. If he did, don't you think we'd hear about his frustrations about not getting the ball in those key situations?
I like him as a change of pace back, but not as my full time starter. No way. I need my RB to have a nose for the endzone and he needs to be in the game in key situations. If he's not, something is wrong there.
The thing I don't understand is, why do the coaches not let him take those carriers? He's an inch shorter than Barber and he's two pounds heavier. So it's not a size issue.
