Yea.. GTFO Felix!
All you did was average 4.3 yards per carry and almost 10 yards per reception and rack up 1250 total yards on just over 200 touches behind one of the worst run blocking offensive lines in football.

Yeah, Felix actually had a nice year considering the crap playing in front of him.
And I think we've just scratched the surface of what he can do in the passing game in this offense.
That being said, I can't shake the feeling he's not the guy you want as your lead back for the future. It bothers me that he is so carefree. A great player should demand the football. Felix wouldn't care if you sat him for 3 weeks.
Murray has a burning desire to be great. I wish Felix was the same.

Marion Barber only got 8 more redzone rushes than Felix, but Barber put up 3 TDs compared to Felix's 1.

Hopefully Murray will put felix back into the 3rd down back role.
You're right, Felix doesn't give a shat if he's the starter, he's just happy to be on a football team.

Not buying that. When they got down around the goalline, Felix was almost never in the game. It was mainly Barber, with Choice filling in at times.. rarely ever saw Felix inside the 10 yard line. I guess red zone was too big a sample. Goalline carries i should have said, or carries inside the 10 yard line even.

Either way.. show me how many backs averaged more than 4.3 ypc last year and over 5 yards per touch with over 200 total touches.
I'll take a back that does that anyday.. especially when they can do it behind our horrible run blocking line that we had last season.

There were at least 11 better than Felix in that category. They all scored more than one TD for their team also.
Felix doesn't want to carry the ball in goal line situations. If he did, don't you think we'd hear about his frustrations about not getting the ball in those key situations?
I like him as a change of pace back, but not as my full time starter. No way. I need my RB to have a nose for the endzone and he needs to be in the game in key situations. If he's not, something is wrong there.
The thing I don't understand is, why do the coaches not let him take those carriers? He's an inch shorter than Barber and he's two pounds heavier. So it's not a size issue.
