ANYWAYS I really wanted for us to draft Derek Wolfe in the 2nd, but Tyrone Crawford is a very nice consolation prize. In fact, are very similar.

because teams could pass to get 1st downs whenever they wanted. Show me goal line stats and short-yardage conversion stats... or just tell me some plays where the goal line d made crucial stops.

I'll do the research, because I know you wont.

I dont remember the short yardage run defense being a huge issue though.

I don't recall very many, short yardage situations. Outside of the redzone. I remember a lot of us putting teams back with long to go on 3rd downs, only to watch the Dbackfield give up the completions.
