Bet they came to the conclusion his issue was lack of effort and decided to cut ties. Wouldn't be the first time his effort has come into question.

Supposedly they are bringing in another DL. Wonder if its someone off the street or via trade.

Sounds like the makings of a Buddy Ryan - Gilchrist feud. Where Ryan socked Gilchrist, who ran the Run-N-Shoot offense, that led to a lot of 3 and outs and bad field position for the defense to contend with.

6 foot 7, 272 pounds, 4.84 40, with character concerns.

Built like a 3-4 DE but quick enough to play Anchor (strongside DE). Team may use him at 3-Tech like they did with Hatcher.
