I'm headed to Vegas later today gents, leaving the DCU in your capable hands for a few days.

I just wanted to let everyone know that because Dooms has sold me on the Soup Bowl for this yr, I'll be placing a very large wager on the Cowboys to win it all and Dak will be the Super Bowl MVP. Since I invested every penny of my own money into the DCU I've taken all of Dodger's life savings with me to make this happen but don't worry Amigo, this is a sure thing. I know you share in the confidence level around 4 to make this happen!

And don't worry Dodger, when we win I'll reward you by giving you 5% of the take. (note this is minus your original investment, I have expenses to take care of)

I noticed you had to bump the Prescott thread before you left as a subliminal message to me. Because I try to be a good dude, I'll help you cover the site expenses after you lose all your money.

I don't think we'd take him TBH but he's an interesting eval. He's listed at 6'3, 230+

Has athletic ability and arm talent, but the gambling stuff might make him untouchable for most teams.

I kinda cringe when I watch Milton play so I wouldn't mind watching him in pre season even if he didn't make the final roster.

I dont think we're going to have to worry about seeing Milton too much longer here.

Howell is going to win the backup job easily. Milton is likely to go the way of the dodo and his best-case scenario is probably a year on the PS or going to the CFL.

Sorsby is interesting because he is big, has obvious arm and physical talent, throws with accuracy and is coming off a sensational year at Cinci. With a big year at Texas Tech he could have moved himself into legit top-10 pick in 2027 discussion. The gambling stuff is a major issue and he may not be able to overcome it with a lot of teams but IF he could remove himself from it the guy is a heckuva talent and some team might hit a mega grand slam by investing a 3rd rd pick, maybe even a 2nd rd pick via the supp draft to take him. We probably won't be in primo draft position to take a potential franchise QB next yr in April (afterall, it's a lock we're drafting 32nd now) but this could be a franchise future altering move for us if they pulled the trigger.

That said, the kid has a major uphill climb and there's a ton of negative press on him and how he has supposedly responded to this so far. Jones loves his circus but not sure he could sell the rest of the FO and Schottenheimer on adding this to the mix here.
