The fact that the team gave every ounce of effort it had to give Johnson a chance to play..proves more than anything else in this thread

Yeah, because we have a long history of pulling gems out of the rough.
All hail.
And you have absolutely no way to speculate that "I'm sure he will be fine" outside of you hoping and praying he will.
Just because you really really really hope last year was an anomaly doesn't make it so.
Our brilliant coaching staff and scouting staffs are so incredibly dominate that it was damn well worth keeping Matt fucking Johnson on the active roster almost all year with the hopes that he would finally get his twat better and come swooping in to save the day.
So u are of the opinion that he will never be healthy enough to ever play?
Brilliant, I wonder how he played all those games in high school and college?
I didn't say that. Reading is for winners.
I said it's impossible to speculate the opposite, but in that same vein it's impossible to speculate that he will never be healthy enough to play. I'm just saying if history is any indication you have to lean towards injury prone.
And, no, it wasn't just one injury that kept nagging. He has hamstring issues in both legs. Left leg in TC and the first part of the season and then about October messed up his right hamstring.
How is he injury proned? It was one unfortunate injury from a guy they were hurrying to get ready, who missed the ota's.
I don't mind that we kept him, because it's not like his roster spot meant anything last year anyway. But how much did he even practice to judge him?
Very little IIRC. I think they just kept him because he was a draft pick they liked. Which again is fine. I just don't know how much he could've been lighting it up in practice when he barely was able to suit up.
Eh, even if he does become fully healthy, he might be another Pat Watkins. Decent enough to get a paycheck for a few years, but not really any good.

It was two injuries. One to each leg. In one year. While barely practicing.
I don't have a dog in this fight but Johnson was injured in college too.
If what Theebs says that Broaddus says is true... why did we like Hannah all year and only start getting him involved late in the season?
Yes when u have a weakness your trying to get better like in one hamstring and u push yourself too hard too soon u can get the second hamstring injury.
It happens, he just was behind the 8 ball from day 1 because of school and never caught up. It happens.
Is that what caused the back injury, too?
