Front office was desperate after Arkin and we have relations with that sleazebag Ireland. Cook was another player who would have been cut from a shitty team, so I'm glad it worked out but zoners are gonna give the FO way too much credit for this now. Keep in mind that C has been an issue since Gurode was released, so it's not really like they planned it out well.
