I just read that Phillip Rivers won the award last year, I guess you can get it for being a struggling piece of shit, then get it for having a pretty good year.

Should Romo be considered coming off two major back surgeries?

Kyle Lazado won it for just having a better season. So it's possible.

Nfl.com has their top ten and he's not mentioned. You no he won't be considered for any other awards with Murray having the season he is, and I don't think he really should be considered.

It just blew me away that the precursor for winning it now is rebounding after a shitty season. I thought it was reserved for players that came back from devastating injury, or a return from obscurity.
