Yes, a guy that lost his job to Tim Tebow is not a severe drop off from Tony Romo.

I guess my response to this would be Ware and Witten dont do things to single handedly blow big games, the way Romo has repeatedly now.

Further, even though I feel Romo has peaked, he still has significant trade value and the team can clearly use what we'd get in return to reload/retool other positions. Personally I dont think the drop off from Romo to Orton at this point is that severe, especially if they fortify the OL a little more. There'd be a drop off, no question. But for all the good Romo does, he has the one flaw I dont think will ever be corrected or be coached out of. Thats why I think it might be time to move on from him.

The guy needs two different surgeries. If you saw any other player on another team do something like that, you'd drooling all over them and saying "gee, why dont we have guys that want to do whatever it takes to win and play through stuff"
