When Dez is getting bracketed with a safety over the top, why doesn't the passing game move to a TWill, Witten, Beasley deep or deep middle routes, and run Dez underneath on crosses and short routes?

a. Witten no longer has the speed down the seams like he did 5 years ago and is relegated to out/in routes.
b. Prefer Beasely to be check-down and stay within 10 yards from LOS
c. Terence Williams can't get separation
d. Romo doesn't like to throw down the middle and, consequently, the design of the offense doesn't have routes attack the middle. Read Sturm's articles as he includes passing charts. Amazing how the deep middle is usually avoided.
