Be honest: How do you feel about the Giants game?

I honestly feel like we're going to get humiliated.

I know we won week one.

But if you look at both teams... the Giants have gone 4-1 since that opening day loss, with an average margin of victory of almost 16 points. Meanwhile, we've gone 2-3 during that same stretch beating two teams with a combined record of 3-9. The Giants beat the Panthers by 23 points. We labored to win by 5. The Giants also traveled accross the country to house the 49'ers, while we got our dicks smacked by the Seahawks.

It's like both teams have been going in opposite direcetions since week 1. As if we put so much emphasis on winning that game, that we haven't been able to get up for any others.

And while the win was impressive - the best game of our season imo - it still went down to the proverbial wire.

Will Victor Cruz - a receiver who's on a record breaking pace - drop another four passes?

Will Martellus Bennett drop critical third down conversions. Wait, yeah, he likely will.

Will we hold their JPP, Tuck, Youmanyou'reah, and others sackless again?

Because we can't rely on Murray to hang 140 yards again because he won't be playing.

Oh, and did I mention the Giants play better on the road? And that we have the homefield advantage of an abused wife?

I feel sick about this game. I feel it's going to be ugly. 20 point loss ugly.

Tell me I'm wrong, and why...

Don't use week one as justification. This is two completely different teams since that game.

This is the only reason I think we'll lose.

We matchup well with them across the board. We can handle athletic DEs (except for JPP noone can handle him) we can't handle uber-athletic DTs. We can obviously cover their wideouts. Their running game doesn't do well against us generally.

But they just win on the road. Something like 67% over the past few years. And we have no home field advantage. So the odds are against us.

If this site was played in a neutral location I'd pick us.

If both teams play like they have recently, yeah, we get curbstomped.

I'm done expecting us to play well on O. Now I just hope for some fluke turnovers and an upset.

Honestly do not know what to expect.

If Eli has the ball and it's late, I don't see our safeties or pass rush being a factor.

Offensively, I can see Romo going tick-for-tack with Eli. Just have to hope we play mistake-free football and have at least a 9 point lead on the last drive of the game.

These threads are so stupid...no offense to LE, cause this obiously isn't the only one..

But seriously-are people so damn blind? Just about every single game we play goes down to the wire..heck, the majority of the games in the nfl are like this now.

Just like every other week, this week will be same, it will come down to a handful of plays that determine the game. We are a 50-50 team in these games.

When it comes to divisional games, anything can happen. Washington was one Cruz bomb away from beating the Giants. If the Cowboys pass rush can kick it in gear with the home crowd, the Cowboys have a good chance of winning. Romo and the offense have to score touchdowns, field goals won’t do it. Giants are explosive on offense. Cowboys defense is due for a rash of takeovers.
