The gospels vary for one main reason.

They were the accounts of 4 different people written at 4 different times. What do you expect? It was 4 eye witness accounts.

In police investigating do you know what the most believable form of corroborating eye witness accounts is? When the story is varied. Take 4 witnesses and interview them all. If the story lines up pretty much the same with a few variations its much more believable that everyone being word for word. That sounds much more rehearsed.

What did the gospels all say? Sinners need a savior, Jesus is the savior, He was born of a virgin, He was crucified for our sins, he was resurrected thereby paying the ultimate price for mankind. Story over.

Here's the deal, I feel very fortunate that I get to be a around a group of believers who let everyone work these peripheral issues out on their own. Grasp what is called "the essentials" and work the non-essentials out on your own, within your own conscience. There is no time to try to make robots out of everyone, there is too much to get done for people who actually want help.

The reason you haven’t put the events in chronological order is because it would prove that the story is completely made up. The backbone of your faith is a farce.
