** Players were not in helmets for the morning walkthrough. They have been in pads just three times for practice over the last week. They will not be in pads for the afternoon practice either. Tomorrow's walkthrough will be short as well before they get on a plane for Houston.
**A lot of the special teams' focus was on situational stuff, like on-side kicks, squib kicks and taking a safety.
** Dez Bryant knows how to make the fans happy. He playfully tossed a football to a fan behind a fence before practice. The woman's return throw was a little wobbly but he managed to hang on to it.
** After being unable to grab a floater from Stephen McGee to tight end Martin Rucker in the back of the end zone, linebacker Bradie James received some grief from his fellow defenders and he mockingly tossed his hat to the ground in disgust.
** McGee had at least four passes picked off: Mike Jenkins, Terence Newman , Barry Church, Alan Ball but it means nothing in a walkthrough. The ball goes to a specific spot regardless of the coverage.
** Kevin Ogletree (hamstring) and Leon Williams (ear) were back to practice after missing parts of the last two days. Ogletree said he would play on Saturday at Houston.
** The last play of the session did not go quite as planned for the offense, so assistant head coach Jason Garrett called for a repeat. Only it came after the final horn of practice sounded. Don't worry, the players still ran the play before calling it the morning.
** Frank Bauer, who represents backup nose tackle Junior Siavii, attended the morning workout.
