Anyone else think we trade back a lot this draft?

I really haven't heard Jefferson mentioned that much at all.

He, along with Robert Lester at AL, were highly regarded safeties coming into the year that both kind of fell off the radar, IMO.

Also, when was the last Oklahoma safety that came out thats been worth anything?

Kind of like Florida QB's, and PSU running backs...

Hes going to cost way too much for us to have a chance. We would have to go at least 5-11 to have a chance. Hes going first overall. Thats a ton to trade up for.

I don't think there's any OU safety curse, more that the team and unfortunately the league in general just don't play defense at all the last few years. (Except for K State.) And on top of it, OU runs that fast break offense and throws it a ton, so that just makes the defense look worse.
