There's been like thousands of songs put out in history, I don't take it too seriously.

I rock the shit out of some Ke§ha big whoop wanna fight about it.

Although it was funny seeing "call me maybe " up for some awards and they cut to her and she nods her head like Daniel day Lewis

its true. I am not a music snob even though it comes off that way, I just dont understand the current pop groups. they seem boring.

btw this reminds me, If i dont ever post here again after this week its because I am either dead or locked up in a basement.

found a guy on craigs list locally selling his record collection off. I am going to go over there fri or sat.

so I am either going to end up with 100 or so new records or he locks me in his basement and kills me when he gets around to it.

hi five man.

I really need a sweet record player. A friend of mine has this awesome old-timey cabinet with the player hidden, just have to find one myself. I think I'll also check out craigslist and just buy peoples collections.

There are a ton of good used tables on ebay. you might have to setup a new catridge or replace a belt but lots of them..
the go to used table I always see is the technics slmk1200. Lots of people love them...I think they are direct drive and dont have a belt.

Depending on what you want to spend you can also dip into the new entry level tables made by pro-ject, music hall and some others...marantz, denon.

i have never bought anything off craigs list like this. the guy says the records are in good shape, I hope so. you have to be careful of the deep scratches and warping. I have been burned buying used vinyl and then misplacing the reciept and not being able to return it after you find out its warped.
