Son is disappoint.

Guess some of you guys were right. He's just good enough to get a long with but nothing special.

He's one of the Garrett endorsement players. Very good and versatile but has no speed and the Cover 2 needs speed. The right kind of guys are Nice but they finish last.

He looked like a budding star last year. But now the only LB I've noticed has been Lee.

Hitchens has been playing through an injury that caused him to miss quite a bit of time at the end of camp.

He's a back-up LB who would have never played last year without the inujuries. I get his value where he can play all 3 spots. But he's a poor man's Brady James. A guy who is a back-up that you should always be looking to upgrade. He was one non-call away from being the off-season goat.

We have too many players like this that are starting and not due to injury: Hayden, Hitchens, Wilbur, Church, Wilcox, Randal, and McFadden.

Completely agree. I have no idea why these guys are so off-limits. You would think you hit on one late round pick or UFA that can unseat some of these folks, especially along the DL and safety position. It just seems like these problems linger from year to year.

On that next-to-last (IIRC that was the one) walk-in TD by the Falcons straight up the gut, he almost voluntarily lets himself be escorted out of the hole. Maybe he was hurt or something but that was pitiful.

It's like the team grades the players differently than everyone else does. For example, PFF has graded Nick Hayden as the worst starting DT over the past 2 years. The Cowboys admit that they use PFF grading system, but yet Marinelli loves Hayden. Our safety situation is the strangest. We seem to like slow and/or untalented guys who can tackle. Wilcox isn't slow, but he's a project. Henderson hasn't made one player better IMO (Wilcox's pursuit angles, Carr and Claiborne overall, and so far, Byron Jones looks pedestrian).
