how can that be? other than what your real underlying meaning is here.

carver played in the nfl for four seasons. then he was deemed unworthy of an nfl roster. he played five years for the dallas desperadoes for gods sake.

carpenter for all his faults is still in the nfl 8 years later. Carpenter played and made impact plays in a playoff win for crying out loud.

Its crazy to say carver was better than carpenter in any way possible.

He was better. He was also eons better in college.

The guy could have been a pretty good NFL player had he not turned into a major booze addict.

Carpenter was picked higher than Carver was too. Carver at least started some here, Carpenter was utterly useless.

How many games did Carver start for the cowboys and how many did Barbie?

Carver was a starter for a couple of seasons and saw pretty extensive playing time the short time he was here.

I only remember Carpenter playing extensively on defense for us in a few games.
