Orlando Scandrick, the Dallas Cowboys' No. 3 cornerback, incurred his second freak injury in less than six months on Thursday.
In the Cowboys' final full practice of training camp, Scandrick damaged cartilage in his nose while making a diving play on a pass to Terrell Hudgins. Scandrick left the practice, and the extent of his injury was not known. He could miss Saturday night's exhibition at Houston.
In May, Scandrick fractured the right ring finger when breaking up a pass during an Organized Team Activities workout.
