Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is feeling confident about the Cowboys this season, saying in a Facebook Live video on Monday, "We gonna be a dominant squad."

Bryant went live shortly after a voluntary workout at the Cowboys practice facility. When asked about the Cowboys' Super Bowl chances, Bryant expressed a belief in the team's ability because of its work ethic this offseason.

"We gotta get that Super Bowl. We need to get that Super Bowl. We goin' to," Bryant said. "We got a lot of guys working out. There haven't been this many guys working out this early in I don't know how long. It's not mandatory neither so that's the most beautiful thing about this whole workout plan. Everything is not mandatory until like the end of April.

"You have guys coming in, working out, they don't even have to. They can be off somewhere minding their own business. But they're making it their priority to be up in that facility getting that work in. When you see a lot of guys putting that work in like that, [expletive] you can't stop that. That [expletive] will become contagious. I promise we gonna get it. We lost a lot but we still got a lot of great leaders up in there who want to show these young guys how it's supposed to be done."

Bryant likened the offseason work to what the team did before the 2016 season, when the Cowboys went 13-3 and had the best record in the NFC before being eliminated by the Green Bay Packers in the NFC divisional round.

"We became one, we became a family and [expletive] we balled out," Bryant said with a wide smile on his face. "We gonna do it this year though. I know that for a fact. ... I can't wait."

Bryant was on the way to his house to make a salad after his workout with teammates. Bryant said he was helping lead the offseason workouts for the younger players.

"I'm doing these captain workouts out here in Dallas. Just trying to make sure these young guys coming in and they get some work in," Bryant said. "This is going to be a dominant year. ... One thing I'm thankful for: I ain't ever had a problem working. That's a great trait to have."

Bryant was asked about the state of the team's defense following several free agent departures this offseason. Bryant said he's confident in the defense under leaders like Pro Bowl linebacker Sean Lee.

"I promise you our defense gonna be good. They're gonna be good," Bryant said. "You got that general on the other side, Sean Lee. He gonna make sure it's right."

Have no problem with anything I just read there. Especially this stuff:

They ain't winning shit because they'll never beat the Pats or any team that can beat the Pats.

UNLESS...either one of the above is so injured that they barely limped into the Super Bowl with a roster decimated by injury, even then it wouldn't be a lock that the Cowboys and their brain trust could pull off the win
