3) Brian Price, a monster at UCLA, remains w team. IR shoulder injury. If healthy, he might have future here (suck it boozeman)

4) fwiw, still maintaining a locker stall with nameplate at VRanch is ... Josh Brent.

@ anyone thinking Price with two years away next year will amount to anything.

That is even dumber. Each team gets one designation. That needs to be saved into the season for some we know can play.

If the coaching staff feels he could contribute this year, assuming healthy, then I'm all for him getting the designation.

When something happens to Sean Lee again and a schlub like Price already got the designation...don't tell me I didn't warn you.

I guess this would depend on 1) if Ratliff is healthy and playing well and 2) how well Lissemore and guys like Ben Bass do.

Ratliff is up there in age, and he seems to be falling apart. We can't really rely on him for more than another year or two.

Well, yeah. Thats kind of a generic statement. Every team carries 53 players. And the amount of depth they have is dependent on how the 2nd and third stringers do.

I like Lissemore fairly well... but he's only been a 3/4 DE to this point. And Ben Bass is just a name. He made one play that I recall last year against Oakland in the preseason. Other than that, he's a complete unknown.
