Really hoping this is BS.

Pickens is eons better than any WR in this draft. He's also better than Jaylen Waddle so whatever they'd get by moving him better be at LEAST what Miami got.

Trading Pickens and replacing him with a rookie means you not only downgrade the offense, but you still DIDNT help the swiss cheese defense.

Just don't understand it if that is their thinking.

Does Chad Johnson really know something we don’t know? GP should be grateful for the opportunity/ blessing he received by joining the Cowboys. At least he has had many targets thrown by Dak. The grass ain’t always greener on the other side and if it is it might be from the crap that has fertilized the grass. GP and Dallas would best be served by GP leeping his mouth shut ,keeping a smile on face, and working his ass off to become a better player and team mate. Thats what I would be doing for 27 million. The other alternative is to go ahead and trade him for a draft pick or picks this year…. Especially if you know you are not going to sign him long term. We are about to witness one of the most interesting drafts we have seen in years. You can throw out all the mock drafts because it’s about to get real! JJ, SJ, WM, CP and Shoddy please for the love of God don’t screw up this draft!

Hypothetical trade value of George Pickens. Top-10 Draft pick. Pick 10= 1300 pts.

Reason- Pickens is clearly better than any WR in this draft, and one, perhaps two are going to go in the Top-10. He's also better than Jalen Waddle, and he went for a 1st, 3rd and 4th (Fish also sent a 4th back so net a 1st and 3rd)

Cowboys #20 overall= 850 pts.

Tennessee 4th pick overall= 1800 pts -2150 from Dallas for Pickens and our 20th. We'd get their 4th overall and at least their 3rd rd pick (#66, worth 260pts). Likely they'd have to include another day 3 pick.

Cleveland 6th overall pick= 1600pts. -2150 for Pickens and 20. We'd get their 6th overall + their 2nd (39th) an maybe another day three pick.

So, with a TN trade we'd have 4, 12, 66 and 92. (Plus potential throw in day three pick). They'd get Pickens plus our 20th overall.

With Cleveland we'd have 6, 12, 39 and 92 (plus potential throw in day three pick). They'd get Pickens plus our 20th.

12.

Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU

Dallas is a team that people around the NFL believe would move up the board in the right scenario, but at what cost? The stick-and-pick approach pays off here, as the team lands the No. 1 cornerback after giving up a league-high 46 completions of 25-plus yards in 2025, per ESPN Research. Delane's size, run-support skills and ball disruption are NFL-ready.

20.

Keldric Faulk, Edge, Auburn

The defensive overhaul for the Cowboys continues with Faulk, a 21-year-old who looked like a potential top-10 pick coming into this past season. His production tapered (only two sacks in 2025 after seven in 2024), but he has a lot of desirable traits. Faulk was the tallest (6-5⅞) and heaviest (276 pounds) among all edge rushers at the combine. He is strong against the run and has positional versatility.

So what is everyone’s ideal draft night tonight?

For me it’s pretty simple. Styles or Downs at 12. If both are gone then pull the ripcord and get out of there to pick up extra picks.

and at 20 (assuming we got Styles or Downs) I’ll be fine with what’s left. I would even be ok with Rodriguez if everyone else is gone.

Here is to hoping teams suck at drafting and a ton of offensive players go early and push back the better defensive players to us.

We need so much on defense that we really can't go wrong.

I am taking Bailey and Reese out of the mix because they'll go too early, but if we end up with Downs, Styles, Bain or Delane I am happy.

Plenty of people at 20 (or little later if they move down) that will be good adds too.

Just don't draft offense and I am happy.
