All these "he's an elite athlete" BS with some arbitrary look good stat are just BS. No doubt the kid may be an elite athlete. But his 26.1 "true pass rush win rate" led to 1.5 sacks.

Last few days Schottenheimer, Parker and McClay have been at Miami, Texas, Texas A&M and now Texas Tech.

Big time defensive talent from these schools and I would bet if we don't trade a pick/s for veterans, at least 1 or 2 newbie players for us will come from here.

This ultimately could be good for us. Hopefully someone takes him before our pick at 12 (pushing another defensive player down) OR somebody behind us really, really wants him and is willing to trade into our spot at 12 (or potentially 20 if he gets there) to pay a premium in draft picks to get him.

yes i would love the idea of them paying javonte williams 3 yr $24 million and then drafting a rookie RB who would would make 4 yrs and roughly $25 million

nice use of resources and will be amazing to see them both run the ball together
