Someone help me understand this. How would the Eagles clinch in a tie against the Cowboys this Sunday? Would they not have 1 loss and a tie against the Cowboys? And how does that trump the Cowboys 1 win and tie against the Eagles?

Because they would still have 9 wins while we would still have 8.
