Rat looked good tonight. But I still think we can manage wo him

I'm watching it now. He looks strong, even with the foot injury. Looks real good.

I do agree, I think we can win without him, but he's still playing good ball.

Does Ogletree make this team?

I'd be fine with Dez, Austin, Harris and Beasley. I guess Ogletree would be the 5wr. My fear is his seniority makes him the 3, then that pushes the other two that actually look like nice players to 4 and 5.

Well I am happier Harris.

He is in good shape and looks to be very smart. He is developing very well.

And for the guys saying it's just like last year, it's not, he made a couple plays against Denver in the first preseason game.

This year he is lining up in different spots and getting open quickly and catching the ball. He is going to be a big help on game day.

Still do nit understand why the local media and the fans gave up on him so quickly.

I don't know about the local media, but for me it wasn't that I was down on the player.

I thought maybe something else happened quietly. Dude went from that huge game against Denver, to never hearing from him again. I was thinking maybe attitude, or even a failed drug test. Just couldn't understand why he burst onto the scene, then nothing.

But yeah, I'm happy to see him break out and make some plays. I still might like Beasley just as much. Beastly just looks so fluid in his routes and catching the ball. He's not Wes Welker, but man, he gets to his spots and gets yards after the catch.

I'd keep him over Coale in a heartbeat.

Looked like tanner fucked up to me on that sack..smith picked up the inside man, which is what he's supposed to do

Not sure who missed their pick up. But yeah, Tyron picked up the same guy that Tanner was going to. Whether that was on Tanner or Tyron I don't know.

Fischer called a timeout, the guy upstairs didn't buzz down. Not absolving anyone, but the guy upstairs should have buzzed down. Although maybe he did, and they didn't know what was going on. lol

Ref blew the whistle, dead ball. No one picked up the ball before that. Ball > Dallas.

I'm rewatching the game right now and it appears this offensive line is in big trouble in ny.

Arkin couldn't handle the size of the interior guys and if romo gets flushed from his spot like this againstbthe giants he will not get rid of the ball.

The giants will scheme him into rolling into pressure like last year.

Depressing. Hopefully Murray can take a huge load in ny and we can get a quick passing game going.

Without witten helping blocking on the edge this game is just going to be scary.

Btw, Sam Bradford looked terrible. He missed some wide open guys.

I hope he works out or fisher is going to get blasted for not taking bob griffin.

Arkin wont be starting in NY

Rams blitzed heavily. While there were definitely breakdowns in protection, the pocket more times than not didn't collapse.

I dunno, I thought we dominated them like we should have. And that was without Miles or Dez.

Granted, they won't let Harris get behind everyone like the pitiful Rams. But we still won easily just like we should have.

There were defInitely breakdowns on the offensive line. But c'mon, did anyone seriously think our OL would have no breakdowns?

The giants game is going to be interesting

they did bring a lot of guys on a handful of plays.

the difference between it looking good against the rams and romo getting killed against ny and philly is big though.

if jpp blows away smith and romo tries to step up against ny he will be walking into tuck and osi......Plus they will scheme there delays from kiawanuka like they always do......

Last nights line would have got romo killed in ny. It looks like livings and mack are players though. But our edge guys and the center just have to be much better.

I thought at some point mack would slide to center and broaddus hinted at it last week, but geez watching dockery and leary I dont think we can afford to have either of those two on the field.

there is no point in having dockery here, he looks terrible to me and leary like brad sham said last night the team thinks needs a red shirt year. He has hit his high point and is struggling already.....

I dont think its out of the question that we look for a guard on cut downs, I dont think the team wants arkin or leary or dockery out there at guard if costa cant go.....and arkin at center in a real game....omg......romo would get killed.

I give arkin credit for stepping up and taking all the reps and learning a new position at this level with no time....but at this point its the nfl and nice stories dont win games. Arkin looks like a guy worth keeping to keep developing but not to put out there yet.

Its kind of scary that it looks like we have 4 starting caliber lineman and smith got blown away at the line a few times last night and free the week before.

Maybe someone will move a guard or center to us in a trade. We are kind of desperate at this point.

Im scared to be quite honest.

I have no idea how we keep romo upright outside of murray just going off and a lot of three step drops.

If there corners are what it appears they are, with the size of our guys on the edge we should be able to break tackles and move the chains......

but man if we get behind and romo needs to drop back and throw the ball down the field i dont know at this point how we are going to pull that off.

Was Smith that poor yesterday?

I saw Free get abused early..but other than that I'm not sure. I haven't watched the game over

I can't think of a single team with a wealth of oline players.

Pitt and TB in fact just lost starting guards for the season (maybe only 8-10 wks for DeCastro) and even a super bowl caliber team like GB had to sign the corpse of Jeff Saturday with hopes that he can pull a weekend at bernie's 3 on the league.

Gotta build through the draft really.
