    Cowboys make 3 moves

Probably for the best. Get an older vet in here in hopes of avoiding mental mistakes of a young guy. I'll give the pro scouts the benefit of the doubt for now.

    Romo's back

I know this is a huge game with major playoff implications, but we need to sit him for a week or two. Backs aren't something to play with. We've built enough equity with our first half record, and our second half schedule is weak enough to go a week without him.

    I probably shouldn't give a shat...

... But it's gonna be kinda bittersweet if/when Murray breaks Emmitts single season rushing record for the team. It's "only" 1773 yards, so barring injury, it's going to fall. Emmitt was my childhood hero or whatever. My favorite Cowboy when I was young. Now, after the whole Cardinals...

Josh Brent getting close to practicing

Agreed. He was becoming a slightly better than average stuffer who occasionally got penetration. But that was like two years ago. Although I will say, if anyone can get him to perform, it's Marinelli.

NFL.com: Why was Jerry Jones on sideline talking to Garrett mid-game?

31 other owners in the league go down on the sidelines and give coaches updates mid game. /hostile

Next opponent: Cardinals - How good are they?

I know they have a deep secondary and they tackle very well. Also have good receivers. Don't know about if they have a big strong OLine and/or a physical back. If they can pound the rock, were in trouble. Otherwise I think we win kinda easy.

2014 - The year the DCU Homered out?

I admit, I was getting sucked back in to full fledged homer mode. Sometimes I forget were a Garrett coached/Jerry GM'd team.

Next opponent: Cardinals - How good are they?

I just have a hard time buying a Carson Palmer lead Cardinals team. But Noshame just called them a top 3 team in another thread. Are they really that good? What's the line on this game?

    Romo's back

If nothing else, the psychological scars will be there. What game was it where he played all jumpy. Hell, might've been last year. But there was a game where he was playing like he heard footsteps every snap and was getting rid of the ball early, not properly setting up plays etc.

What are your thoughts after sleeping on it?

A lot of truth to this. Up until last night basically anything that could go right for us, did. Our guys make miracle catches in key moments (Dez vs texans/Williams vs Seattle) and opponents drop critical routine passes (cook td at Rams). Also a few guys have been playing well above their...

NFL Week #8: Washington Redskins (2-5) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-1)

:lol Exactly. Jason has a lifetime contract because Jerry has no problem visiting the sideline and setting his puppet straight. Hard to imagine any respectable coach putting up with that. I mean, you just immasculate your coach right there in front of the players, the fans, and the world...

What are your thoughts after sleeping on it?

:lol As a dad, I completely understand. I stopped buying my kids Cowboys swag about two or three years ago. I'm not passing this fandom down to them. I can't get out, but I can prevent them from a future of frustration on Sundays.

Gosselin: Gassed and overmatched: Cowboys' defense exposed in loss

ARLINGTON — The Cowboys don’t ask their defense to win games. They just ask their defense to compete. It’s the job of Tony Romo and the offense to win games. That’s where all the money and talent is on the Cowboys. It’s the job of the offense to control the ball, control the clock, protect this...

Moore: Loss to Redskins could bite Cowboys down the road

By DAVID MOORE Follow @DavidMooreDMN DAVID MOORE The Dallas Morning News Staff Writer dmoore@dallasnews.com Published: 27 October 2014 11:13 PM ARLINGTON — The evening can’t be considered a complete disaster since Tony Romo was upright at the game’s end. The same can’t be said for that...

What are your thoughts after sleeping on it?

Sky still falling? Were we exposed or was that just a bump in the road? Personally I don't understand how or why Jason doesn't make any sort of adjustment last night. I mean, you have a dominant OL, a dominant RB, a dominant WR, a top of the line TE, and a well above average #2 WR..... yet...

Durant could be out for the season

Not going to lose sleep over the loss of a journeyman linebacker. Mostly concerned over Romo.
