Besides, it would take away his greatest strength - his quickness. Outside of slants, most outside routes are longer developing. Better to keep him inside where he can make cuts and seperate 2-3 yards off the line.

Because it'd basically take away his side of the field, numbers out. Most corners would have 3-4 inches height, plus longer arms. Hard for a QB to drop the ball in there when the corner is so much bigger. Better off inside, in space, where that wouldn't be an issue.

He's already better than Claiborne.

I think Beasley is what he is. A slot receiver. I don't think he has the size to work outside as an effective #2 receiver.
