Scandrick blows out ACL/MCL, gone for year

@RossTuckerNFL: Scandrick's injury hurts Cowboys more than Jordy's w/ GB & that's saying something b/c Jordy is Top 5 WR Uh.... no. Not considering how we upgraded the position.

Scandrick blows out ACL/MCL, gone for year

Only thing that makes me nervous is the first two weeks we play elite receiving corps and while they have a lot of potential, our corners have a lot to prove. Vets and rookie included. Also making it harder is the lack of elite pass rusher Hardy.

Scandrick blows out ACL/MCL, gone for year

@Edwerderespn: Orlando Scandrick tore both ACL and MCL in his knee, meaning surgery and missing entire season. #Cowboys D without him, Hardy, McClain early Likely took his last snap with the team, right? We didn't pick up his 2016 option I believe.

Scandrick blows out ACL/MCL, gone for year

You two underestimate how good he has been for us. Especially considering the lack of pass rush.

It's early, but do you see any surprise cuts?

Someone tweeted that Gibson has been the most improved player in camp or somethjbg to that effect. Hopefully we stole another late round gem.

Scandrick blows out ACL/MCL, gone for year

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick possesses the uncanny knack of being chippy, intense, funny, angry and cool all at the same time. And that knack is a big part of the Cowboys defensive personality. And now that on-field personality may be shelved for a time after Scandrick was carted...

Sucks for the player, but it's at a position were deep at, at least. Good thing we got Byron and White this offseason.

McClay "ratifies" what most of us know about how flawed Garrett is....

Confirms what we know because McClay emphasized the importance of calling the plays and his ability to use players to the best of their abilities. Linehan IS a good coach. Garrett isn't. Hence his having responsibilities stripped from him and the team finally excelling.

McClay "ratifies" what most of us know about how flawed Garrett is....

Essentially the 2016 6th, because that's what we used to get him. Which is still puzzling since there was just a few selections in the 7th before UDFA and he likely would've been there. Also, you have to wonder if we'll use him. Because we've not done well employing multiple TEs in the past...

NFL Preseason Week 2: Dallas @ San Francisco

Campo is a hell of a good guy. Just socially awkward as all fuck.

WATCH: Cowboys DE Randy Gregory picks up 2nd sack of preseason

Idgaf about retiring numbers - although it would be odd seeing another #8 under center. I just think if you're a HOF'er for a team, like Ware was here, then at least wait a few years before handing out the number again.
