2014 - The year the DCU Homered out?

I think T McClain is finally getting healthy, he finally showed some of the explosiveness Broaddus said he had against NYG the other day. He made 3 good plays and had a couple others where he showed some quickness as well.

    PFT: Week Seven power rankings

I dont think we're the best team in the NFL right now. Maybe top-5, but I still wonder about the defense.

2014 - The year the DCU Homered out?

What was your prediction for the team? 4-12? 5-11? So if we make the playoffs, is that not a success compared with expecations?

    It's almost D Law Time

I think they really believed he'd win the starting RDE job when camp began. But he's missed alot of time, I think we'll mainly see him in passing situations for a few weeks.

    It's almost D Law Time

The word is he has really changed his body in the couple months he's been out, I thought I read he was close to 260 now Its words from Jerruh, but he says people were "frothing at the mouth" after watching him in practice last week. I saw some comments from some of the players and Broaddus too...

Okay, I'm sold. Open the checkbook, Jerruh

Don't get too carried away with how "easy" he'd be to replace. There a shit ton of good RB's who ran behind great OL's that haven't done what Demarco Murray has done this year. There's a reason it had been Jim Brown's record for 45+ years.

    It's almost D Law Time

Saw some blurb that S Jones said today if not for the IR rule mandating how long Lawrence had to remain out, he could play. Sounds like he will be full go for practicing this week and then next week be active vs Arizona. Watching this clip, we should sure use some of this from our DL...

Bob Sturm The Morning After: Giants game

In 1992 we had the best defense in the league and not one single Cowboy defender made the probowl.

Bob Sturm The Morning After: Giants game

The Morning After: Cowboys 31, Giants 21 By Bob Sturm sturm1310@aol.com 8:53 am on October 20, 2014 | Permalink With each passing week, it becomes apparent to those of us that thought we knew this organization, that the 2014 Dallas Cowboys are a new team. That means, in short...

My official serving of roast crow- Romo

Rex, or Rob? And you'd believe either of them anyway? The offense got better after Callahan was seemingly stripped of the playcalling, did it not? And its the best its been in a long time this year (offense in general, and playcalling) He wanted Norv, and reportedly Jerry wouldn't allow it...

    NFC Playoff Tracker...

Arizona is 5-1 and their starting QB missed a number of games. I think their D is legit and their coach is an excellent game planner. If they beat Philly this weekend and we take care of Washington, Arizona v Dallas at midseason (the following week) is a really, really key NFC game this yr.

    How Bout that Escobar?

That was my opinion as well, but his blocking seems to have improved some. I've seen a number of replays where he got his guy blocked extremely well. Doesn't get many plays per game, but at least it seems he is improving some.

My official serving of roast crow- Romo

Agree 100%, and I think some of the positive things happening now are a clear indicator some of that is already going on.

My official serving of roast crow- Romo

We know this how exactly? Didn't he say he never intended to call plays permanently a long time ago though? Not sure that's 100% accurate, or fair. I do think Garrett has done some (I said SOME) positive things here. I think he clearly has had an impact on the scouting and pro personnel...

My official serving of roast crow- Romo

If people are going to beat them up for their failures (and Jerry's list of failures is a fucking mile wide) then I think people have to give them some credit if they have success. Now sustained success would be the key thing. Many teams can put it together for a one and done run, but winning...
