NFL Week #11: Early and Late Games Thread

oh my gosh cabal...how can we possibly match up with the genius Chip Kelly and his overpowering attacking Philly Eagles I just don't see it.

    What's up with Ian Rapoport?

I read somewhere they tried to get another 2 week roster exemption for him, but were denied. So I guess they are taking a little bit of risk but if he doesn't do anything (or show anything) in 2-3-4 weeks, they can always release him and replace him with someone else.

Stephen Jones: It's My Family's Fault Romo Doesn't Have a Championship

The defense was pretty good from 2006-2009 and they poured a lot of resources (draft picks and free agent dollars) into defensive players from 2003-2008 Its not like the defense was ignored.

Cowlishaw: Don't assume the Cowboys will make the playoffs

If it was truly a "done deal" it'd be a done deal. That fact that it isn't and that nobody will say with any certainty "he's the coach going forward" says they still don't know. They should wait it out and see what happens. If they miss the playoffs he wont be here next year IMO, regardless of...

Stephen Jones: It's My Family's Fault Romo Doesn't Have a Championship

The upside for us with Stevie running things would be far greater than what we have had. Would be interesting to see if he ran the FO exactly as daddy has or if he'd defer more to a real football person (whether it be a GM, or a coach in the Jimmy/Parcells/Belichick mold that ran everything)

    Who you got? Week 10

troll supporting troll Where did I dismiss it? It certainly helped. Just like it helped the Eagles the other night. That said, you cant totally discount Jon freaking Kitna playing pretty well for us after Garrett took over coaching that team. His numbers that season weren't all that...

    Who you got? Week 10

So are you trying to argue that coaches should have a higher win % with backup QB's?

    Who you got? Week 10

The Cards blitzed a season low number of times per Broaddus. The blitz had nothing to do with why Weeden was bad that day. He had plenty of time to throw.

    Who you got? Week 10

I really don't know what that would have been that day, he was just awful. Made too many bad throws and just locked onto 1 guy on most plays. He's got good enough size, a pretty strong arm and has some athletic ability to pull the ball down and run, but the stuff holding him back is between his...

    Who you got? Week 10

No doubt. Although it'd been nice to have forced 5 turnovers and got 9 sacks vs an inept QB and had a punt return TD too. Might have helped as well.
