He wasn't as nimble making those little duck and roll moves that Romo does, but in terms of rolling out and throwing on the run, Aikman was good at that on those bootleg throws. Aikman also had more speed if he actually decided to pull a ball down and run with it.

There's a reason Troy was a #1 overall pick and one of the higher rated QB prospects ever. Romo has really made himself into a good player (far better than anything anyone could have hoped for). But Aikman was bigger, stronger, had a much stronger arm, threw the ball much more accurately...

Jimmy and Garrett are obviously no comparison, but I do think there's a massive difference between Aikman/Emmitt/Irvin and Romo/Murray/Bryant. Swap those two groups in their primes and I bet this team would be better than it is today, even with Garrett as HC and this sorry defense.
