For the few lingering Romo haters out there: Romo deserves 2014 NFL MVP Award

Apparently Romo has clinched the leagues passer rating title, congrats to him. First time a Cowboy QB has done it since 78 & 79 when Staubach did it

    Scott Linehan is the man

I don't recall saying otherwise. I do recall dopes like yourself saying it was a terrible hire in the first place though and that the offense would become even more pass happy than it was.

Cowboys road to the Super Bowl

You are correct sir. Although before the playoff format was changed and the season was extended to 16 games, I believe we were the first wild card team to ever make it to the Super Bowl (1975 vs Pittsburgh, our Dirty Dozen draft yr)

    Expectations? #2

Defense is my only real worry, although we should be able to do enough to slow down Detroit and beat them. After that GB and potentially Seattle would both be tough matchups for us. 1 win seems realistic. 2 or 3 would be an amazing accomplishment.

    La Canfora: Black Monday Primer

I like Todd Bowles and love David Shaw (who says he is staying at Stanford) but other than that, nobody else on that list matters IMO

Nobody's calling for Garrett to be coach of the year?

He's not going to win, but he definitely deserves consideration. Few of the other teams who have coach of the yr candidates were predicted to be anywhere near as bad as this team was.

Cowboys road to the Super Bowl

He's better than Josh Brent and he has more pass rush ability than Nick Hayden does. Hayden was out there a ton today in the 2nd half on passing downs, and he does almost nothing to push the pocket. He tries hard and he is decent against the run, but he is not a pass rusher.

    Scott Linehan is the man

you said Linehan didn't have the title because they don't want to hurt Garrett's feelings, was just pointing out that (as usual) you are factually incorrect about something...somebody DOES have the title and has since the day he was hired here

    Anthony Hitchens ankle

For the few lingering Romo haters out there: Romo deserves 2014 NFL MVP Award

If people were thinking straight though, Romo would probably win it comfortably. He's had a season that's been superior to Rodgers statistically and in the games he missed or wasn't 100%, we lost and looked bad. Rodgers team made the playoffs last yr without him for a lot of games.

For the few lingering Romo haters out there: Romo deserves 2014 NFL MVP Award

Yeah but Willis Reed had a real injury I really believe that Rodgers played that injury thing a bit today to help his cause

Cowboys road to the Super Bowl

I hope Stafford looks as inept against us as he did today. That said, our defense worries me and we lost Hitchens and Melton today. I wouldn't put any game down as a "gimmee" for this team, but we should win that game.

    2015 NFL Draft Thread

Gurley is a special player. He'll be 100% recovered by year two. If he's there in the late first or early second its almost a no brainer pick depending on what they do with Murray. If Murray gets a long term deal then I agree wit you, no RB early. There are some 2nd/3rd rd type RB's who could...
