ok I've already stated numerous times I think the starting RB for us will come out of the draft. But I do think if Randle keeps his shit together he can be a decent RB, he obviously has some skill. Has to do a better job at blitz pick up if he wants to be more involved I think.

Randle neither looks nor runs anything like Troy Hambrick. Pretty awful comparison guys. Also never mind the fact this OL and supporting offensive players are eons better than what was here when Hambrick got his chance.

You need to go back and read scouting reports. Coming into his draft, some speculated he could be moved to WR because of his hands, route running ability and physical build.

wouldn't count on him, but he COULD do the job he averaged almost 7 yds per carry and had a few long runs as well...has great hands as a receiver that said, I think our starting RB shows up on draft weekend

Free agents of interest still there: DE Greg Hardy, DE Derrick Morgan, would think about Michael Johnson but he was awful last yr and wasn't much better the yr before that. DT Nick Fairley (only if budget incentive laden type deal IMO) CB Chris Culliver, Parrish Cox, maybe Patrick Robinson...

You don't know that. Murray will be splitting carries 3 ways and IMO is probably playing on a team that will be behind a lot, in addition to not possessing the ball that long anyway even if they are ahead. I was as big a Murray fan as there was here, but I was never on board with paying him...

I don't think they need a high cost RB. Too many good one's in the draft and Randle while a knucklehead, did show good skill running behind this line last yr. Ryan Williams might could be a dependable #2 I wouldn't sign any free agent RB until after we see how the draft plays out.

I did say "worst case" I agree Randle can't be trusted, but he was ultra productive last yr when he got carries and is also an outstanding receiver. If Murray leaves though, I think we all know drafting a RB pretty high is a lock.

I'd prefer we keep him with a contract that doesn't mess up our cap. That said, if he leaves they possibly open up some more cap dollars for defensive help.
