Against two of the better defenses in the nation (TCU and Michigan St) Petty threw for 500+ yds in each game, 9 tds and 3 picks. He was right at about 10 yds per attempt. They scored 102 pts in those two games. I know some of its the system, but both those teams have real quality defenses...

I don't know that he's had to move through any progressions. None of the QB's that play in those systems do. The question is can he learn that. If you think he can, he has a lot of other positives to work with.
