Cowboys working on long-term deal with Crawford

I remember many bitching and moaning when he was drafted too. Really solid player who still has a lot of upside, hope we get him wrapped up long term.

JJT: How Jason Garrett has put his imprint on the Dallas Cowboys

That's clearly not what he meant. I know some of you would like to think that's what he meant so you could find something to bitch about, but even JJT isn't stupid enough to believe Garrett is a better coach than Landry or prepared teams better. Landry is one of the top coaches of all time, Red...

Like who exactly? I've seen you say this several times now, but other than Cruz (who is coming off a major injury) and Beason, who else are they missing? We've got two really good players suspended along with our best CB being gone for the yr.

JJT: How Jason Garrett has put his imprint on the Dallas Cowboys

I don't think Landry was much into "mind games" or a lot of psychology stuff, from hearing former players talk about how he coached they just flat out feared him. Jimmy and Parcells were feared too, but they also toyed with players heads to motivate them. I think that's what JJT is referring to.

Sturm- I like this team, but still cautious

Did Detroit luck out when their early TD wasn't called back for the obvious holding downfield? It was in plain sight for all to see, and the ref was staring right at it.

Sturm- I like this team, but still cautious

Some degree of luck involved with that too (ie, us with Romo) but they seem to make far better draft decisions than in the laugher years of Jerry GM from 94-2002. I strongly suspect next years first or second rd pick will be a QB and if someone they really like is out there, it wouldn't...

    Will Allen

LOL Yeah that Will Allen, the one that got beat like a drum all over the secondary all night long. Once upon a time Tony Dixon looked great on safety blitzes too. Unfortunately for him, that's all he could do.

Sturm- I like this team, but still cautious

First off, Detroit did next to nothing offensively after the first qtr in that game. And one of their TDS they got from the refs avoiding an OBVIOUS holding call downfield. Was that lucky? Dez Bryant vs GB Which was "luckier"?

New Englands defense might be worse than the Stealers Almost 400 yds of offense now for Pitt and they don't have their star RB, their big play #2 WR or their pro bowl C

Sturm- I like this team, but still cautious

Just fyi, the 9-7 Giants didn't beat the 13-3 Cowboys This years roster doesn't look very mediocre, its by far the best its been in a LONG time. Barring major injury, the results this yr wont be much different than last yr. But hey, you can always crow about how "its just two fluke years...

NFL Week #1: TNF | New York Giants (0-0) @ Dallas Cowboys (0-0)

Collinsworth was just talking about how they wanted to make everything simple for them. Apparently it isn't simple enough. They don't even know where to line up or who should be on the field. And their front 7 isn't much better. They've done next to nothing. They might give up 450+ pts this yr.
